Our team of optometrists serve the San Gabriel Valley from our Whittier and West Covina offices. We are available 7 days a week and can schedule you for an eye exam on weekdays and evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays. Lisa Masuyama, O.D.Lisa Masuyama, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University. Prior to completing her doctorate degree, she attended North Torrance High School and graduated from University of California, Irvine where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health Science. Her clinical externships focused on primary care, contact lens, and ocular disease treatment and management in Veterans Affair hospital system in Nevada, IHS at Hu Hu Kam Hospital in Arizona, and a co-management practice in southern California.

During optometry school, Dr. Masuyama held leadership positions such as MBKU Education Committee, Student Ambassador, Asian American Optometric Society Student Liaison and worked as a clinical technician for Ocular Disease department at the University Eye Care Center. She also volunteered her time at several local vision screenings such as LA Care Harbor and Special Olympics as well as traveled to El Salvador for a mission trip to help provide free eye care to those in need.

In her free time she enjoys the outdoors, traveling, basketball and spending time with her friends and family.
