Safety Eyeglasses Do Save Eyes

Golden Optometric provides Industrial Safety Vision Services by our trained optical staff through our offices, and on-site, at companies throughout the Southland, such as Golden State Foods, ATK, and Norak. Many companies find it easier for their employees to be fitted for their safety glasses right there on the job, thus reducing the personal time the employee would spend to obtain this service.

As a VSP provider, we also administer for the VSP Safety Program which provides safety eyewear for many employees through their VSP vision coverage. If you are not certain if you have coverage for this benefit, call our office and our helpful front office coordinators will be happy to check for you.

We have also partnered up with Essilor Industrial Eyewear. Essilor supplies some of the finest safety eyewear available. Working with their partners such as Titmus, Hudson, On Guard and Aden, Essilor Industrial Eyewear provides complete eyewear programs. They certify that all their lens materials and coatings have been tested in accordance with ANSI Z87.1-2003. We are proud to be part of their Safety Program and to offer a complete range of safety eyewear services for our patients.
