I would argue that as many professional practitioners merge into mega-conglomerates, they compromise their most essential value, the doctor-patient relationship. You can get your teeth cleaned, eyes checked, and tires changed on a walk-in basis at big box organizations. Let me tell you that if I had done the same with my eye examination, recently it could have cost me my eyesight. The staff and doctors at Golden Optometric carefully listened to concerns about my worsening ability to read, recommended a test, and directly diagnosed a serious condition. I credit the doctor’s depth of caring and personal doctor-patient relationship. They helped me to initiate a resolution addressing my destructive eye disease, within hours. Thank you, Golden Optometric!

Always have a positive experience visiting Golden Optometric. My first visit was as a youngster with Dr. Golden Senior in Whittier. When I married I brought my husband and he loved the service (more than his optometrist) and have since brought all three of my children, now ages 26 thru 19 and still coming to your office now in West Covina. Your offices have always been a place of trust and excellent service. Love the staff!!

I love my Optometrist office!! I am privileged to be a patient of Golden Optometric Group for over 40 years. First as a child and then as an adult taking my own children to receive the quality of care I can only get there. They far exceed my expectations as great eye doctors and a great office staff. Going in is like going “home”. Each individual, from the doctors, to the office staff, to the eye technicians, treat you with the very best care. They explain everything, offer advice, getting me the best glasses and contacts for my eyes and taking care of all my eye needs plus working toward the future of having good eye sight as my eye needs change. Their help is so personal, like you are the most important patient they have, and they give this quality of care to each one that comes walking in the door. I “trust” my eye doctor’s office with the most valuable gift of my eye sight. I cannot thank them enough for what they have done for my family and me. When friends and family ask me, “do you have a good eye doctor I could go see”? Well, that is an easy one for me – Golden Optometric Group. They are wonderful!!

Open an office in Long Beach! Every time it is time to drive there I think I need to find an eye doctor that is closer- but then when I leave (the office) I think I would drive even farther to get that kind of care.

Though I’ve moved a distance from Dr. Golden’s office, my trust in the care I receive has me driving to Whittier from West L.A. for my eye exams and contact lens care for years already. This place is awesome! … Always a huge selection of frames to choose from. (I have Gucci and Vera Wang). These frames can be pricey but often times they will work with you.
Staff is very friendly and I’ve never had a problem with any of the optometrists. They are not one to rush you thru the appt and make it a point to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase.
I’ve already recomended this place to friends and family.

After 5 years of not using glasses I finally decided to get some glasses.
