Anna M. Pennino, O.D.

Dr. Anna Pennino received her undergraduate degree at California State University at Fullerton. She earned her Doctor of Optometry from New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Pennino completed her externships at Fort Sam Army Base, the Eye Foundation of Utah and the Martha Eliot Health Center. Immediately following optometry school, she participated in an extensive clinical research study evaluating the ocular side-effects of Mevacor, a cholesterol lowering medication.

Dr. Pennino joined Golden Optometric Group in 1994. She has since become actively involved in the management and operations of Del Rey Optometry and South Gate Optometry which were acquired in 2002 and 2007, respectively.

Her professional interests are primary care optometry and specialty contact lenses. She is a sponsoring doctor for Unite For Sight, a non-profit organization that empowers communities worldwide to improve eye health and eliminate preventable blindness.

Dr. Pennino and her husband reside in Huntington Beach, California, and recently welcomed the arrival of their twin boys. Her interests include scuba diving, snow skiing and traveling.
